Driver's Little Helper

In an effort to conserve memory and keep your iPhone running smoothly, iOS may automatically close apps running in the background if there are too many apps open. If Driver’s Little Helper is running in the background, it may be closed automatically by iOS, which will stop monitoring and alerts. If you want to run the app in the background, we recommend closing as many other apps as possible. To close apps, press the Home button twice to see all currently running apps and then swipe the apps that you would like to close upwards.

If you connect your phone to your car using Bluetooth technology, the Driver’s Little Helper App can play alert sounds through your car’s hands-free audio system. To hear these sounds, your car must be set to play audio from your phone. Check your car’s owner’s manual for additional information.

There may be situations in which alert sounds are blocked by your phone; most commonly, during a phone call. Check your phone’s documentation for additional information.

The Driver’s Little Helper sensor pad detects temperature to help you make sure your child keeps cool. Please note that the sensor detects temperature only in the immediate area around it, so if you run your air conditioning and the sensor is under your child’s car seat the sensor may not immediately register the change in your car’s temperature. Always use your best judgment in combination with the sensor’s reading to ensure a safe temperature for your child.
